It has been quite a quiet few weeks with the National Hunt horses getting into full swing with their work in preparation for the Winter season.
The Flat horses have had a little quiet spell too to re charge them for an all weather campaign.
There are not many races for Gypsy Rider until November but Play The Blues gets underway again at Kempton next Wednesday in the 8.45 1m handicap, she has not run for a while but has gone well fresh before.
Now back on to the jumpers,
After his pleasing run last time, we now have the difficulty of finding him another race, I have entered him in the 2m 0-110 chase at Worcester on the 14th, this may be ok but it will not be easy pitching him against non-novices, however it is either this or we go for a 0-120 Novice chase at Kempton on the 18th, not an easy decision.
Is settling much better and I have got a few races in mind, it will be over 2m and I would prefer a maiden hurdle than a novice one, Plumpton on November 2nd may be the best option,
may also go to Plumpton that day as well as there is a 0-110 2m hurdle race there for him
has lots of options either in Novice hurdles or staying chases, if he continues to please there may be a 3m Amateurs chase at Newbury for him in November, he has a low rating over hurdles though so a novice handicap hurdle might be a strong temptation
