Many thanks to all who came for a drink and to see the horses parade on Sunday, personally I thought it was great to catch up with everyone and was very relieved that the weather held off and the parade went off without a hitch!
is well and aiming for Towcester on Boxing day, fingers crossed for good/good to soft in places! The ground and the opposition are key to this horse, he jumped and settled well at Exeter last time but the heavy ground against rivals carrying a lot less weight was too much for him!
Is going well, just waiting for a race for him, Friday the 19th at Wolverhampton looks like our next chance, with luck in running, he should go well!
Is really well at home but her recent performances have left me scratching my head a little! I am thinking a change of racecourse may help me with my assesment of her' enthusiasm. Plumpton on th 4th of Jan instead of her usual Huntingdon hopefully may do the trick, if not, one can forgive her as at the age of 11 for slowing down a bit.
is looking much more like the National Hunt mare that she was bred to be, as she is unable to run in bumpers having run on the flat I will aim to run her on the flat first to give her a racing recap before we venture out over hurdles, there may be a race for her at Lingfield in January over 1m5f to get the ball rolling followed up with finding a 2m2f or 2m3f maiden hurdle for her
has come in looking really well, we hope to see him take to Novice chasing this year, he schooled over fences nicely last year and looks like a break has done him the world of good, if I cant find an owner/partnership for this horse, I may consider taking him to france for claiming hurdle races as he has form on heavy ground and will love their hurdles, plus he could well get claimed, Ideally though I can find him some owners so I dont have to risk him being claimed!
Is soon to finish his holiday, he has grown a bit and filled out nicely, we will get him ready early for the turf season and may well give him a pop over some hurdles to see how he likes it!
